Cai Ronghua and a delegation from the CITIC Investment–China Merchants Venture Capital Advanced Manufacturing Industry Research Institute Visited Changqing Shares for Investigation and Guidance

On the afternoon of October 22, 2025, Cai Ronghua, Distinguished Expert at the CITIC Investment–China Merchants Advanced Manufacturing Industry Research Institute, led a delegation comprising Researcher Dong Weidong and Investment Manager Shou Zheyu. The delegation was accompanied by Fu Haifeng, Director of the Industrial Division of the Anhui Provincial Development and Reform Commission, Li Chang, a Second-Level Chief Staff Member, and Wang Songqiang, Deputy Director of the Industrial Development Division of the Hefei Municipal Development and Reform Commission, on a special research visit to Changqing Shares. Song Fangming, Deputy General Manager of Changqing Shares, together with Yang Musen, Deputy Director of the Technology Center; Li Shuai, Director of Information; and Zang Yashan, Director of the General Office, extended a warm welcome and provided full accompaniment throughout the visit.
Cai Ronghua and his delegation headed straight to the production front lines, conducting on-site inspections at key manufacturing sites, including Changling Company’s painting line, the Dachong production line at the Xingang Base, and Changsheng Company’s production line. The research team closely monitored the operational status of each production line, with a particular focus on the implementation of the entire battery-case assembly process. They conducted detailed inquiries into critical issues such as process technology advantages, capacity utilization efficiency, and directions for iterative improvements, fostering a highly interactive and engaging exchange on site.
During the field visit, the two sides engaged in in-depth exchanges centered on the industry’s core issues. The research team and relevant executives from Changqing Co., Ltd. thoroughly discussed such topics as trends in the iterative evolution of automotive product portfolios, the dynamic development of innovative manufacturing models, and the application scenarios and implementation outcomes of digital and intelligent technologies in smart automotive manufacturing. The discussions not only explored cutting-edge industry trends but also provided expert guidance on practical challenges faced by enterprises in their operations and production.
This research trip not only provided a clear, on-the-ground understanding of Changqing Shares’ technological capabilities and operational excellence in the core components manufacturing sector for the teams from CITIC Capital Investment and the provincial and municipal development and reform authorities, but also established an efficient communication platform among government, enterprises, and research institutions, thereby laying a solid foundation for deepening industrial collaboration and promoting high-quality development of the automotive manufacturing industry.
